About KIA Car In USA
KIA has a high level of dependability. While KIA had a bad record when it initially entered the US market nearly two decades ago, a lot has changed since then. The brand now has a Repair Pal reliability rating of 4.0 out of 5.0, placing it third among 32 car brands evaluated.
KIA Motors Corp. is based in South Korea, although it has manufacturing facilities in a number of nations as a multinational firm that sells vehicles in a range of markets across the world. The bulk of the models sold in the United States is made in South Korea, with four constructed in the Americas – three in the United States and one in Mexico.
The Telluride three-row SUV, Sorento mid-size SUV, and Optima mid-size sedan are the three vehicles made in the United States (just the gas-only version). KIA’s assembly plant in West Point, Georgia, produces all three. Given that KIA’s headquarters are in South Korea, it’s only natural that the majority of the company’s vehicles are produced there.

KIA Background
KIA Corporation, or just KIA, is a Japanese automobile manufacturer. KIA (stylized as KI) is a South Korean multinational vehicle manufacturer located in Seoul, South Korea. It was previously known as Kyung sung Precision Industry and KIA Motors Corporation. With sales of over 2.8 million vehicles in 2019, it is South Korea’s second-largest automobile manufacturer after (parent company) Hyundai Motor Company.
Hyundai owns minority ownership in the KIA Corporation, with a 33.88 percent stake valued at just over US$6 billion as of December 2015. KIA is a minority shareholder in over twenty Hyundai companies, with stakes ranging from 4.9 percent to 45.37 percent and a total value of over US$8.3 billion.
KIA Europe is KIA Corporation’s European sales and marketing business. Since the first part of 1991, it has started selling automobiles in Europe. KME relocated to a new purpose-built site adjacent to the Messe in Frankfurt city center in 2007, from its previous home at Hauptstrasse 185, Eschborn (near Frankfurt).
When KIA first arrived in Europe in 1991, it only offered the Pride supermini, a rebadged version of the Mazda 121 from the late 1980s. It was first well received by buyers. KIA had sold over 1,800 Pride in the United Kingdom by the end of 1991. In the first full year, 1992, that number doubled, and it rose to approximately 5,500 units in 1993.
